Treatment Information
HIFU (high intensity focused ultrasound) energy is beamed below the skin. HIFU effects three layers of the superficial and dermis along with SMAS, which is the same layer of tissue that surgeons pull tight in a face lift. As a thermal energy safely heats this tissue, the skin contracts resulting in tightening of the skin and formation of new collagen, which provides a longer-term tightening effect.
